Delivery
From an internal point of view, we look to despatch components the same day (or the next working day depending on the time of your order) and for Custom Built PCs, the turn around time is dictated by the current volumes of wok we have and this is clearly indicated on the www.nsysonline.co.uk website
No PC's will be despatched until all testing has been under taken. Proper testing takes 48 hours, so if a PC company can get it to you quicker, stop and think about the consequencies!
We quote our delivery prices separately from the cost of machines, so you can see what you are paying for, prior to placing your order.
Custom PCs use boxes specially made to minimise damage in transit. Please do not accept a package that is damaged from the courier.
PLEASE retain all packaging so that the machine can be easily returned to us in the event of a warranty claim or Upgrade request. You are responsible for the condition of the machine until it is returned to us. Be sure to pack it properly.
Please note that we have several delivery options. All are clear once you add a unit to the cart...
Returns Policy
All our systems come with a one year return to base warranty unless otherwise stated. Please see Warranty section below
You should not return any items to us without contacting us first and obtaining a RMA (‘returns mandate authority’) number which must be clearly written on the outside of any package sent to us. This number enables us to quickly identify your computer and return it to you quicker. Any package returned to us without a RMA number clearly visible will be refused.
Collect & Return Warranty - Initially if you need to return a product we ask that you arrange its return and pay the cost (this avoids you having to stay in all day for our courier to collect). We will refund the cost of your postage when we return the item to you (also at our cost).
Obviously our guarantee only covers the hardware we supply, not the software you choose to install on it. If the item is not found to be faulty, or the fault is not due to a hardware failure, postage will be charged together with associated labour costs in the usual way.
If in any doubt please call us to clarify.
Warranty Information
Our systems come with a twelve month return to base warranty as standard
Return to Base Warranty
The computer is covered for 12 months from date of purchase for parts and labour - but not software related problems or postage costs.
Monitors Warranty
All our monitors (except where stated) have a three year onsite warranty as standard. If a fault develops in that time, the monitor will be 'swapped out' by the manufacturer, for another one.
You must contact the manufacturer for technical support or to arrange for a replacement. You must complete and send in the monitor warranty card provided.
Dead pixel policy
Unless otherwise requested, our monitors are classed as consumer monitors and fit the ISO13406-2 class.
A dot is a dead or faulty pixel. On an average LCD screen there are 778,240 pixels and behind each pixel is a transistor. When a transistor fails it can show as a bright, dark or coloured dot that stands out from the rest. It is common for a monitor to have several dead pixels and still be classified as fully functional. TFT monitors are graded in Classes I to IV - which denote the number of failed transistors on screen at any time. This is known in the industry as "allowable defect" - and class types are detailed in the table shown below.
Class I monitors are without allowable defect and are used for Military, Hospital or other Critical applications Class II is the common class for consumer equipment. Our monitors are Class II.
Purchasers Obligations
The purchaser must complete and return the warranty registration card directly to the company within 14 days of the purchase date. Failure to return the completed warranty registration card, together with a copy of the vendor’s invoice, will result in a delay in the company providing the warranty service.
Warranty Service Provided
The provision of the service under this warranty will be on the base unit only and does not include monitors or other peripherals, which are covered by separate manufacturers warranty agreements. Repair services are provided Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:30 pm (excluding company holidays and Bank holidays).
Period of Warranty
The warranty shall be for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase of the equipment and shall be provided between the hours of 8:30 am to 5:30 pm Monday to Friday with the exceptions of Bank and Company holidays.
Charges
Any visits, repairs, parts supplied or other work carried out which are found to be outside the terms of this warranty will be charged to the purchaser, and will be payable at the point of service. A charge will be levied if access to the equipment is denied during our normal working hours of service.
Care of Equipment
The purchaser must ensure the environmental and power supply conditions are suitable for the equipment, and that the equipment is cared for and maintained in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations and instructions.
General Conditions
The purchaser will ensure that no adjustments, alterations, interference or repairs are carried out to the equipment other than by an authorised representative of our company; failure to comply with these conditions will invalidate the warranty.
It is the purchasers responsibility to ensure that adequate back-ups of all applications, operating systems and data are regularly maintained. In the event of fault emanating from a manufacture or design fault, it may be necessary for the machine to be returned to the manufacturer for fault diagnoses, repair and test.
